Love this jacket! It is very thin and lightweight, yet providing a lot of protection against rain and cold wind. And that with just a t shirt as base layer, let alone what it would do with a proper base layer. And the best thing is that you do not get easily overheated, due to the used fabric.

As a motorcycle rider you find these types of systems but specific to the road, not really elsewhere. Finally, here is a system for everyday. The layers are both cut roomy for each layer but slim enough so not so bulky.  I also ordered the base layer, but separately.  I’m tall with an athletic build. The garments are big enough, which is often hard to find. Each part is made with its own purpose in mind. I really like what Virtus has done with the line and will be buying other items they offer. The garments ship from Asia, and am hopeful that this is a matter of logistics & manufacturing, and that the brand is truly owned & ran by Vets. It’s why I supported the brand...in addition to liking what they make. That said, products arrived quickly. Further, when inquiring before purchasing Customer Service was prompt and helpful, which is also often an indicator. I will be going back for more, and hope the brand continues for our heroes.

Wear Helio's built-in face bask for an almost completely insulated upper body. Coverage stretches from the base of your neck to right under the eyes. It also doubles as a neck gaiter when worn right under the chin.

Fitted hood.

Hood sits snuggly right around the face to hold heat in.

Adjustable waist.

Our patented cinch technology—1-pull to tighten, 1-touch release—at the bottom of your Helios adjusts for a perfect fit.

Fleece-lined collar.

The soft brushed lined collar feels soft, keeps you warm, and doesn't chafe.

Body pockets.

Patch fields.
